The SDL Party would like to reassure its members and supporters that due to the circumstances surrounding its party leader and elected Prime Minister, Mr Laisenia Qarase, it has, according to its revised constitution, the following office bearers, to continue to administer the affairs of the party. They were duly elected in the 2008 Annual General Meeting.

President – Mr Solomoni Naivalu

Vice President- Ro Dona Tokalaiyale

They have been assisted by the senior executives who are responsible for the administrative and daily organisational affairs of the party. In its meeting yesterday afternoon the executives reconfirmed that the Hon. Laisenia Qarase continues to remain the party leader.

In the last few weeks, the party has been finalising its submission to the Constitution Review Commission.

The office at 66 Mcgregor Road, Suva has since 2006, continues to provide relevant services to its members.
